IPL 2023 Final: Rain played spoilsport at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Sunday and delayed the start of the IPL 2023 final between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Gujarat Titans (GT).
It all started with a light drizzle after 6 PM before starting to pour in heavily at the world's largest cricket stadium. Spirited fans, however, kept their spirits high eagerly waiting for the start of the match.

Those on the ground chanted names of their favourites cricketers and Lord Ram, while others at home shared memes to keep themselves busy and help others fighting the unbearable wait for the start of the 'Mentor vs Apprentice' (MS Dhoni vs Hardik Pandya) clash.
Notably, a reserve day has been kept in case even five-over per side game is not possible on Sunday. CSK and GT are meeting each other for the third time in the IPL 2023.
GT defeated CSK by five wickets in the IPL 2023 opener at the same venue, while CSK returned the favour with a 15-run win in the Qualifier 1 in Chennai.
