GT vs LSG: Gujarat Titans (GT) will host Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in match number 51 the IPL 2023 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Saturday. In the first match between the two teams, Gujarat defeated Lucknow by seven runs.
Gujarat are the current table-toppers in the ten-team tournament, winning seven of their 10 matches so far. They defeated Rajasthan Royals (RR) by nine wickets in their last outing.

Lucknow, on the other hand, are occupying the third spot after five wins in 10 games. They were forced to share points in their rain-marred last match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

In the last match against LSG, he picked one wicket for 33 runs in four overs. In total, he has picked six wickets at an average of 14 and an economy rate of 7.09 in three matches.
Mohammed Shami: The star India pacer is tied with Rashid with 18 wickets to his name at an average of 15.22 and an economy rate of 7.02. In his previous outing against Lucknow this season, he bowled three overs for 18 runs but did not pick any wicket.
In the last match against RR, he picked one wicket for 27 runs. Overall, Shami has picked four wickets in three matches against LSG at an average of 12 and an economy rate of 4.80.
Ravi Bishnoi: The leg-spinner is the leading wicket-taker for Lucknow currently. He has picked 12 wickets in 10 matches at an average of 22.33 and a strike rate of 7.76.
In the last match against GT, he picked he leaked 49 runs without taking any wicket. He would be aiming to avenge that this time. He would also be inspired to do well because of the fact that he hasn't picked any wicket in both his outings till date against the defending champions.
Krunal Pandya: The captain of the LSG in absence of injured KL Rahul, Krunal Pandya will be looking to be lead from the front against GT which is led by his brother Hardik Pandya. Krunal starred with the ball earlier this season against GT.
He picked two wickets for just 16 runs in four overs against them. In the 10 matches so far, he has picked six wickets at an average of 26 and an economy rate of 7.09. Overall, he has played three matches and picked three wickets at an average of 19 and an economy rate of 4.75 against Gujarat.
