GT vs LSG, IPL 2023: 4 Players Who Will Score Most Runs In Today's Match

GT vs LSG: Gujarat Titans (GT) will host Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) in match number 51 the IPL 2023 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Saturday. In the first match between the two teams, Gujarat defeated Lucknow by seven runs.

Gujarat are the current table-toppers in the ten-team tournament, winning seven of their 10 matches so far. They defeated Rajasthan Royals (RR) by nine wickets in their last outing.

Lucknow, on the other hand, are occupying the third spot after five wins in 10 games. They were forced to share points in their rain-marred last match against Chennai Super Kings (CSK).

As the two teams gear up to clash against each other for the second time in the IPL 2023, let's have a look at four players who can score most runs in the match.

Hardik Pandya: The Gujarat captain is his team's second-highest run-scorer. He has scored 252 runs in nine matches at an average of 36 and a strike rate of 127.91. Two fifties have come off his bat so far. In the last match against RR, he scored 39 unbeaten runs off just 15 balls.

In his previous outing against LSG, he scored 66 off 50. Overall, he has scored 110 runs in three innings at an average of 36.66 and a strike rate of 120.87.

Shubman Gill: The young opener is the leading run-scorer for Gujarat at the moment. He has scored 375 runs in 10 matches at an average of 37.50 and a strike rate of 135.86.

In the previous meeting against Lucknow, the 23-year-old was dismissed for 2-ball duck. Overall, he has played three matches against LSG and scored 63 runs at an average of 31.50 and a strike rate of 116.66.

Nicholas Pooran: The onus will be on Nicholas Pooran in the absence of KL Rahul who has been ruled out of the IPL 2023 due to a thigh injury. The southpaw has scored 245 runs in 10 matches at an average of 27.22 and a strike rate of 164.42.

Pooran scored one off seven in his last outing against Lucknow. Overall, he has scored 38 runs in three innings at an average of 19 and a strike rate of 19.

Ayush Badoni: The young batter scored eight runs off six balls in the first leg of the match between the two teams. The 23-year-old batter has scored 191 runs in 10 matches at an average of 27.28 and a strike rate of 143.60.

His score in last three matches read - 59*, 4 and 43. In the three matches against LSG, he has scored 70 runs at an average of 23.33 and a strike rate of 120.68.
