KKR vs CSK, IPL 2023: 4 Players Who Will Take Most Wickets In Today's Match

KKR vs CSK: Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) will host Chennai Super Kings (CSK) at the Eden Gardens in Kolkata on Sunday. The action will kick off from 7:30 PM IST. Chennai are currently placed third in the 10-team IPL points table after winning four and losing two matches.

Varun Chakravarthy: The KKR leg-spinner picked two wickets for 16 runs in his last outing against Delhi Capitals. He dismissed both the DC openers - David Warner and Prithvi Shaw. He has played six matches this season and picked nine wickets at an average of 18.11 and economy rate of 7.52.

Chakravarthy has played six matches against CSK and picked six wickets at an average of 26.33 and an economy rate of 6.58.

Suyash Sharma: The young leg-spinner has played four matches and picked six wickets at an average of 22.66 and an economy rate of 8.50. In his last outing against Mumbai Indians, the young spinner dismissed Rohit Sharma and in-form Tilak Varma.

CSK would be playing against the 19-year-old for the first time and his unusual fast action can puzzle the CSK batters in the match.

Ravindra Jadeja: The left-arm spinner has been on fire lately. In his last outing against SRH, he picked three wickets for 22 runs. The last four matches have seen him pick eight wickets for four matches.

Overall, Jadeja has picked nine wickets in six matches at an average of 15.77 and an economy rate of 6.76. The star all-rounder has played 18 wickets at an economy of 7.31 in 28 matches against KKR.

Moeen Ali: Another left-arm pacer in CSK line-up, Moeen Ali can also play a key role. He has picked six wickets in five matches at an average of 13.00 this season. His matchups against southpaws Venkatesh Iyer, Rinku Singh and Nitish Rana will be mouth-watering.

Overall, he has played 49 IPL matches and picked 30 wickets at an economy rate of 6.96 and an average of 23.5.
