As the two teams gear up to clash against each other for the first time in the IPL 2023, let's have a look at four bowlers who can end with maximum wickets in the match.

Sunil Narine: The veteran off-spinner continues to sparkle season after season in the IPL. In his last match against Gujarat Titans, he picked three wickets for 33 runs in 33 runs. Gujarat lost four wickets in the match, three of them (Shubman Gill, Wriddhiman Saha, Sai Sudharsan) were picked by Narine.

Overall, he has picked six wickets in three matches at an average of 14.83. His matchup against in-form former teammate Rahul Tripathi would be an interesting one on Friday.

Varun Chakravarthy: The leg-spinner was at his brutal best in the last match against Eden Gardens. Bowling against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB), he picked four wickets for just 15 runs.

The first three matches have seen the 31-year-old pick five wickets in three matches at an average of 13.60. His economy rate is a decent 7.03. The bowler is back in form and once again look to weave magic in home conditions.

Marco Jansen: The left-arm pacer bowled three overs for sixteen runs and two wickets against Punjab Kings in his first match of the IPL 2023 season. He picked the wickets of Matthew Sort and Jitesh Sharma to reduce Punjab to 22/3.

The young pacer is expected to come across as a major threat for the home side. His matchups against southpaws Venkatesh Iyer and Nitish Rana could be very exciting.

Mayank Markande: High on confidence Mayank Markande will be another SRH bowler looking to impact the result of the match with his performance. In the last match against Punjab Kings, the 25-year-old leg-spinner returned with figures of 4/15.

He looked in decent form for Punjab in the Ranji Trophy 2022-23 season. KKR would be wary of the threat from him. Overall, he has picked 78 T20 wickets in 56 matches at an average of 15.60.
