IPL 2023: Mumbai Indians pacer Arjun Tendulkar has been bitten by a dog ahead of his side's match against Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) at the Ekana Stadium on Tuesday. The 23-year-old cricketer has himself revealed about the incident.
In a video posted by the LSG, Tendulkar can be seen catching up with Lucknow pacer Yudhvir Singh who asks him about his well being. Replying to the question, Tendulkar pointed towards his bowling fingers and revealed that a dog bit him.

The left-arm pacer made his much-anticipated IPL debut in the ongoing season against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). He bowled two overs for 17 runs without any wicket in the match. His wait for a debut wicket ended in the following match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).
Bowing the final over of the match, Tendulkar defended 20 runs and dismissed Bhuvneshwar Kumar on the penultimate delivery to wrap up SRH innings and hand MI a 14-run win.
In his third outing, Tendulkar leaked 48 runs in three overs for one wicket. However, he made a solid comeback in Mumbai's next match against defending champions Gujarat Titans (GT) as he picked the wicket of Wriddhiman Saha and gave away just nine runs in two overs.
Tendulkar hasn't featured in the following five Mumbai games and his latest injury because of a dog bite will most likely see him sit out once again. Jason Behrendorff is expected to lead the MI pace attack alongside Chris Jordan, Akash Madhwal and Kumar Kartikeya.
Mumbai Indians (MI) are currently placed third on the IPL 2023 points table. A win in their last two league matches will see them finish in the top-two.
