IPL 2023: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) defeated Rajasthan Royals (RR) by 112 runs - their biggest win in terms of runs outside Bengaluru. After RCB posted 171.5 in 20 overs, the RR innings collapsed like a house of cards.
Openers Yashasvi Jaiswal and Jos Buttler could not open their accounts, while Sanju Samson departed for four, Joe Root scored 10 off 15 on debut and Devdutt Padikkal scored four runs off as many balls. Dhruv Jurel, who has been highly impressive this season, managed to score one.

Shimron Hetmyer top-scored for the side with 35 off 19 and was only the second batter after Root to score in double digits. The assault from RCB ended on the third ball of the 11th over as Rajasthan Royals (RR) were bundled out for 59 - the third-lowest total in the history of the IPL.
