PBKS vs KKR Live streaming IPL 2023: Shikhar Dhawan-led Punjab Kings (PBKS) will take on Nitish Rana-led Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in the second match of the IPL 2023. Both the teams will be led by new captains in this season.

Dhawan has taken over the baton from Mayank Agarwal who will now be playing for Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) while Nitish Rana has been appointed as the KKR captain in the absence of Shreyas Iyer. Also, Punjab will be without the services of Jonny Bairstow in the season.

Matthew Sort, the BBL Player of the Tournament for 2022-23 season, has been named as Bairstow's replacement. Punjab will also be without the services of Liam Livingstone who is awaiting clearance from England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB).

The all-rounder has recovered from injury but the ECB wants to have a few scans before releasing their white-ball star in a World Cup year. Also missing in the Punjab Kings squad will be premier pacer Kagiso Rabada who is yet to arrive in India due to international commitments.

Kolkata Knight Riders top-order will be under focus in the absence of Iyer. Venkatesh Iyer, after showing sparks in his debut IPL season in 2021 has lost the sheen. Litton Das and Shakib Al Hasan are also set to miss KKR's first match due to Bangladesh's ongoing home series versus Ireland.

Under such circumstances KKR will also have a job at hand. However, with both the sides partially depleted due to absence of their major players, a competitive thriller may very well be on cards.
