As the two teams clash against each other for the second time in the tournament, let's have a look at the top four batters who can end up scoring most runs in the LSG vs CSK match.

Krunal Pandya: With KL Rahul expected to sit out of the upcoming fixture due to an injury which he incurred in the Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) match, Krunal Pandya is likely to lead LSG against CSK.

Krunal will have to play a crucial role with the bat as well. In the last match against RCB, he walked in at three and scored 14 off 11 - third-highest score by an LSG batter in the match. In extremely difficult batting conditions, LSG could score only 108 runs.

Nicholas Pooran: The West Indies star has played nine matches in the season so far and scored 225 runs at an average of 28.12 and a strike rate of 190.67. He scored nine off seven in the previous outing and would be looking to bounce back against CSK.

The southpaw has played seven matches against CSK and scored 172 runs at an average of 34.40 and a strike rate of 172. In the first outing against Chennai this season, he scored 32 runs off 18 balls.

Ruturaj Gaikwad: The CSK opener is currently the fifth-highest run-scorer of the season. He has scored 354 runs in nine matches at an average of 44.25 and a strike rate of 145.67.

In his last outing against Punjab Kings, the right-hander scored 37 runs off 31 balls. In his previous outing against CSK this season, Gaikwad scored 57 runs off 31 balls. He was the top run-scorer in the match.

Ajinkya Rahane: Solid technique is important for scoring runs in Lucknow. Virat Kohl and Faf du Plessis showed it in the previous match at the venue. Ajinkya Rahane therefore will have a crucial role to play.

He is the fourth-highest run-scorer in the season so far for CSK. The right-hander has played seven matches and scored 224 runs at an average of 44.80 and a strike rate of 189.83.
