LSG vs MI IPL 2023: 4 Bowlers Who Will Take Most Wickets In Today's Match

LSG vs MI: Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will take on Mumbai Indians (MI) in the Eliminator of the IPL 2023 at the MA Chidambaram Stadium (Chepauk) in Chennai on Wednesday. LSG finished third in league stage with 17 points in 14 matches.

Five-time champions Mumbai Indians (MI) finished fourth with 16 points in 14 matches. LSG have won their last three matches, while MI defeated Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by eight wickets in their last outing.

As the two teams gear up to clash against each other for the second time in the IPL 2023, let's have a look at four players who can take most wickets in the match.

Ravi Bishnoi: The leg-spinner is the leading wicket-taker for his side currently in the iPL 2023. He has picked 16 wickets in 14 matches at an average of 22.56 and an economy rate of 7.76.

The spin-friendly Chennai surface is expected to help Bishnoi two wickets for 26 runs in his outing against MI last week. He dismissed openers Ishan Kishan and Rohit Sharma. Bishnoi has picked seven matches against MI and picked nine wickets at an average of 20.33 and at an economy rate of 7.32.

Krunal Pandya: The LSG captain is another quality spinner who would look to impact the result of the match. The left-arm pacer has picked nine wickets in 14 matches at an average of 30.55 and an economy rate of 7.23.

Krunal opened the bowling for LSG in their last match against Mumbai Indians (MI) and bowled economical four overs which saw him give away just 27 runs. The left-arm spinner has played three matches against his former team and picked three wickets at an average of 20.66 and an economy rate of 6.20.

Piyush Chawla: Experienced leg-spinner Piyush Chawla will be aiming to continue his good run in the IPL 2023. In the 14 matches so far, he has picked 20 wickets at an average of 21.10 and an economy rate of 7.81. He is the joint fourth-highest wicket-taker in the season so far.

In his last outing against LSG, Chawal picked one wicket for 26 runs in three wickets. Overall, the 34-year-old has played eight matches in Chennai and picked 11 wickets at an average of 22.09 and an economy rate of 7.83.

Jason Behrendorff: The Australian pacer has carried the load of Mumbai Indians (MI) pace attack in the absence of Jasprit Bumrah and Jofra Archer. He has picked 14 wickets in 10 matches at an average of 24.14 and an economy rate of 24.14.

In his last outing against LSG, Behrendorff picked two wickets for 30 runs in four overs. He picked the wickets of Deepak Hooda and Prerak Mankad to finish as the leading wicket-taker for MI in the match. The side would expect him to deliver once again in the crunch match.
