IPL 2023: Massive Brawl between Fans at Arun Jaitley Stadium during DC vs SRH Match - Watch

There was a massive fight between fans at the Arun Jaitley Stadium in Delhi on Saturday (April 29) during the IPL 2023 match between Delhi Capitals (DC) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH).

DC were playing SRH in the evening game on Saturday and a fan-shared video shows there was a brawl among some spectators during the match.

The video shows four fans fighting among themselves at one of the stands. There was kicking and punching as two groups of fans (2 in each group) clashed against each other. One fan was put down in one of the bucket chairs but he still kept on throwing kicks.

After the scuffing and fighting, the video also showed some of the sane-minded people coming together and separating the fighters from each other. The ugly brawl has gone viral on social media.

The striking thing is that there were no police around the area of the ground where the fight broke out.

None of the authority personnel was seen in the area. Although it looked like the spectators avoided serious injury, but it could have easily gone bad and could have turned into a mass brawl.

It was also another disappointing night on the field for DC as they suffered their 6th defeat of the season. They lost against SRH by 9 runs and remain at the bottom of the IPL 2023 points table.
