MI vs KKR, IPL 2023: 4 Players Who Will Score Most Runs In Today's Match

MI vs KKR: Mumbai Indians (MI) will host Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in match number 22 of the IPL 2023 on Sunday. The action will kick start from 3:30 PM. Five-time Champions Mumbai are reeling at the ninth spot in the 10-team IPL points table.

Two-time champions Kolkata, on the other hand, are placed fourth after two wins and two losses. The hosts are entering the match on the back of a six-wicket win over Delhi. Kolkata lost their last home match against Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) by 23 runs.

Rohit Sharma: Mumbai Indians won their first match against Delhi Capitals (DC) after losing their opening two games. Rohit Sharma played a crucial role and smashed 65 runs off 45 balls in the match.

He would be all geared up to carry forward the team's and his momentum. Currently, he is the second-highest run-scorer for his team after Tilak Varma. Rohit has scored 87 runs in three matches at an average of 29 and a strike rate of 127.94.

The MI captain's record against KKR is stunning. He has scored 1861 runs in 67 matches at an average of 33.83 and a strike rate of 132.92.

Suryakumar Yadav: The number one ranked T20I batter in the world is going through a horrid form. In the three innings so far, he has scored 16 runs at an average of 5.33.

He would be aiming to bounce back against his former team. He has a decent record against the opponent as well. The right-hand batter has scored 507 runs in 20 matches at an average of 26.68 and a strike rate of 134.84 against KKR.

Rinku Singh: The KKR batter is in the form of his life. After hitting five consecutive sixes to help Kolkata beat Gujarat Titans in the final over of the match, the southpaw scored 58 unbeaten runs off 31 balls in his last match against SRH.

The first four innings of the IPL 2023 has seen him score - 4, 46, 48* and 58*. He is currently the leading run-scorer for his team with 156 runs in four matches at an average of 78 and a strike rate of 175.28.

Nitish Rana: The KKR captain has shown great form in his last few outings. He scored 75 runs off 41 balls against SRH. In the match prior to it, he scored 45 off 29 against Gujarat.

He is currently the second-highest run-scorer for his team. The 29-year-old southpaw has scored 145 runs in four matches at an average of 36.25 and a strike rate of 157.60.
