As the two teams gear up to clash against each other for the first time in the IPL 2023, let's have a look at four bowlers who can take most wickets in the match.

Jofra Archer: The England pacer played MI's first match against RCB before missing the next four games. However, he is expected to feature in the home match against Punjab Kings on Saturday.

Ahead of the match Archer has reckoned that he is aiming for a "proper home debut". In the first match, he bowled four overs 33 runs and no wicket. He has played six matches against PBKS and picked seven wickets at an average of 25.57 and an economy rate of 7.56.

Piyush Chawla: The IPL 2023 has seen comebacks of several veteran India bowlers. One of them is Piyush Chawla and eyes will be on him Saturday. The first five matches have seen him pick seven wickets at an average of 20.42 at an economy of 7.15.

In his last outing against SRH, Chawla picked two crucial wickets of Abhishek Sharma and a very dangerous Heinrich Klaasen. He has played 14 matches against Punjab and picked 15 wickets at an average of 25.40.

Sam Curran: The left-arm pacer can be a dangerous customer to deal with. Southpaws Ishan Kishan and Tilak Varma have shown good form and left-arm pacer Curran's matchup against them would be intriguing.

So far, Curran has picked five wickets in six matches at an average of 35.80. He has picked five wickets in four matches at an average of 23.20 against Mumbai Indians.

Arshdeep Singh: Another left-arm pacer who will hold key to PBKS' success is Arshdeep Singh. He is currently the joint fourth-highest wicket-taker in the IPL 2023. He has picked nine wickets at an average of 19.44 and an economy rate of 8.33.
