MI vs RR: Mumbai Indians (MI) will take on Rajasthan Royals in match number 42 of the IPL 2023 at the Wankhede Stadium on Sunday. The match will kick start from 7:30 PM IST. Mumbai are placed eighth on the ten-team points table after losing four of their first seven matches.
Rajasthan, on the other hand, are occupying the second spot after five wins in eight matches. However, the side has lost two of their last three matches. They defeated Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by 32 runs in their last match. Mumbai have lost their last two matches.

As the two teams gear up to clash against each other for the first time in the IPL 2023, let's have a look at four bowlers who can take most wickets in the match.
Piyush Chawla: The veteran leg-spinner is currently the leading wicket-taker for his team. He has picked 11 wickets in seven matches at an average of 17.45 and an economy rate of 7.11.
He picked two wickets for 34 runs in his last outing against Gujarat Titans. He picked the crucial wickets of Hardik Pandya and Vijay Shankar. Overall, the 34-year-old has played 268 T20 matches and picked 287 wickets at an average of 24.08.
Jofra Archer: The pacer has played only two matches in the IPL 2023 due to fitness reasons. After featuring in his side's first match against RCB, Archer missed four straight matches before turning up against Punjab Kings (PBKS). He again missed the side's last match against Gujarat.
However, Archer remains a threat for any opposition if he takes the field. The two matches have seen him pick just two wickets. But, he has played a total of 132 T20 matches and picked 168 wickets at an average of 22.45 and an economy rate of 7.66.
Ravichandran Ashwin: The star off-spinner is the second-highest wicket-taker for Rajasthan after Yuzvendra Chahal (12). He has picked 11 wickets in eight matches at an average of 21.18 and an economy rate of 21.18.
Ashwin picked two wickets in the last match against Chennai. He has picked five wickets in his last three outings. The 36-year-old has played 32 matches against Mumbai and picked 24 wickets at an average of 30.12 and an economy rate of 6.75.
Trent Boult: The New Zealand quick did not play in his side's last match against CSK due to a niggle injury but Rajasthan as well as Trent Boult himself would be hoping to take the field in the match against Mumbai on Sunday.
Boult knows the Wankhede track very well as he was part of Mumbai Indians earlier and has spent a lot of time in the ground. In IPL 2023, Boult has picked nine wickets in six matches at an average of 21.22 and an economy of 7.95.
Boult has played eight matches against his former team and picked eight wickets from them at an average of 34.12 and an economy rate of 8.85. The contest between the Mumbai batter and Boult at Wankhede would be intriguing.
