Chennai Super Kings captain MS Dhoni is playing his 200th game in IPL as captain for CSK as the four-time champions are locking horns with Rajasthan Royals on Wednesday (April 12).

And ahead of the match, the former India captain was felicitated at the MA Chidambaram stadium in front of the buoyant CSK crowd. Former BCCI president N Srinivasan felicitated Dhoni with a special laminated poster that had 'Thala 200' written over it.

Dhoni becomes the first player to captain 200 games in IPL for a single franchise, as the veteran has captained Chennai Super Kings and Rising Pune Supergiants during his IPL career. He started his career in 2008 with CSK and after 16 years of the tournament, he still remains the numero uno of the Chennai-based franchise.
