IPL 2023: The bonding between Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain MS Dhoni and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) star Virat Kohli is known to everyone. Kohli was trained under Dhoni as the future leader of the Indian cricket team and he has gone on record to admit it.
Kohli has once famously said that Dhoni would always be his captain. The 41-year-old old cricketer retired from international cricket in 2019 but the special relation between the two continued to flourish. The two cricketers are fond of each other and that can be seen when they catch up during CSK versus RCB clashes in IPL.

A video of Dhoni explaining Kohli's technique after CSK's six-wicket win over Mumbai Indians (MI) has been going viral on social media. "Virat doesn't play the ball towards like this. So, you want him to play here," Dhoni can be heard saying.
Kohli is in sublime form in the IPL 2023. He is currently the fifth-highest run-scorer with 419 runs at an average of 46.55. Six fifties have come off his blade - the most by any batter this season.
A few days ago, the 34-year-old became the first batter to complete 7000 IPL runs. He also became the first Indian to hit fifty fifties in the IPL.
Talking abot Dhoni's CSK, they are currently placed second in the ten-team IPL 2023 points table and are one of the favourites to book playoff berths.
