For a decade and a half, MS Dhoni's legacy as the captain of the Chennai Super Kings is nothing short of remarkable. Dhoni's amazing leadership skills have taken CSK to a new height since the inception of IPL.

Dhoni's captaincy mantra and composure with impeccable skills and ability to handle pressure have set a lofty bar in the IPL. The Chennai Super Kings are the team with the most playoffs in history and the Yellow Army prepare for what may be Dhoni's last season as captain and player in this edition of IPL.

Speaking on MS Dhoni at the Star Sports network, former India batter Sunil Gavaskar reminisced the highlights of the illustrious IPL career of 'Captain Cool' MS Dhoni, and how he has brought out the best in his teammates.

"I think when CSK returned and won the IPL trophy, it was absolutely amazing because the team had not been together for two years and they had moved out with different franchises and suddenly they come back again," Gavaskar said recently.

"That tells you leadership. That tells you how the man could get a team together again after that gap. Sometimes you know, first year, second year there is a team spirit that happens but to get all of them together after the gap is remarkable," he added.

Dhoni is one of the stalwarts of the game and Gavaskar believes the former Indian captain will be aiming to bid adieu with another feather on his crown. Chennai Super Kings won the title four times in their history so far and will be aiming to match Mumbai Indians for the 5th title this year.
