Royal Challengers Bangalore have roped in Qatar Airways as their new official front-of-jersey partner ahead of the IPL 2023.
The deal was announced at the RCB Unbox event as the middle-eastern airline company replaced Muthoot Fincorp, who were at the front of the RCB shirt last year.

The Indian Premier 2023 season will take place between 31 March - 28 May, with the Bengaluru-based cricket team playing their opening match on 2 April against the Mumbai Indians.
RCB hosted a special "Unboxing Event" that featured cricket legends, celebrities, team officials and the likes of cricket superstars Virat Kohli, Faf du Plessis and Glen Maxwell. Fans watched the RCB squad train in an entertaining atmosphere, after which the Qatar Airways cabin crew greeted the team during a special jersey unveiling ceremony.
"We are thrilled at the potential of the RCB - Qatar Airways partnership. The synergies between both brands serve as a robust platform to build a very strong marketing association over the next three years and beyond," RCB CEO Prathamesh Mishra said.
"The partnership and its activation will be a benchmark in the Indian sports ecosystem and adds to the aspiration of RCB on its pathway to becoming a global cricketing powerhouse and a lifestyle brand," he added.
RCB are eyeing to win their maiden IPL this year. The Bangalore-based franchise have never tasted glory in their 16-year existence and will be keen to take the next step and win the IPL this season.
This is also the first time IPL returning to Bangalore since 2019. The franchise tournament was largely limited to UAE and a cluster of cities in India last season due to the COVID-19. RCB are being led by South African veteran Faf du Plessis after Virat Kohli stepped down from the leadership duties last year.
