A clinical bowling performance gave Royal Challengers Bangalore a fantastic victory over Lucknow Super Giants on Monday (May 1) at the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow.
Defending just 126 runs, the RCB bowlers pulled up a staggering performance and bundled out LSG for just 108 runs. And two of their leg spinners played a pivotal part in the win. Karn Sharma picked up two wickets and broke the back of LSG's run chase.

Karn Sharma took the wickets of Marcus Stoinis and Nicholas Pooran - two of the LSG's premier batters. And the veteran spinner was praised by Robin Uthappa after the match.
JioCinema's IPL expert Robin Uthappa was extremely impressed with the spinner's performance, and said, "He was dropped after performing so well, especially getting wickets in Bangalore. Not very expensive but still getting wickets, which is crucial in Bangalore."
"He didn't figure in the side after Hasaranga came into the XI. You can never have too many leg-spinners in a T20 game, can you?" Uthappa added.
It has been a mixed season for the Meerut-born player. Sharma has so far played four matches in this IPL season and has 7 wickets to his name. He played RCB's first three matches of the season, and then was dropped for the next five matches.
He was expensive in the previous match against CSK, as he conceded 48 runs in four overs. But he has made a fantastic comeback in his newest opportunity. RCB are currently sitting 5th in the IPL table with 10 points after nine matches.
