Royal Challengers Bangalore batter Glenn Maxwell has given a big update on his fitness before RCB's opener in the IPL 2023.
At the RCB Bold diaries programme, Maxwell revealed his injury status and gave light to his current fitness state. Maxwell has been out of action for a long time after a freakish accident at a birthday party where he fractured his legs.

The Australian dasher has featured only twice since the T20 World Cup last year. he played for Victoria in February in a first-class match, and then played in the 1st ODI between India and Australia earlier this month.
And as the player gears up for another IPL season, he says the injured legs have healed and is raring to go.
"The legs are okay. It's alright. It's still going to be a couple of months before I am at my 100% but hopefully, it is good enough to get through this tournament and still do the job," Maxwell said.
RCB are playing their opening game at their own home on April 2 as they take on Mumbai Indians. This is the first time IPL is returning at the MA Chinnaswamy Stadium since 2019, and the Australian batter can't wait to play in front of the supporters.

"In the last couple of years, that is everything that players have talked about, so finally to get back here after a couple of years, it's very exciting and we are all pretty pumped to play in front of our home fans finally," the Australian added.
"See you all at the Chinnaswamy stadium," Maxwell concluded.
The Australian has played 110 games in the IPL across three franchises. He has 2319 IPL runs to his name at a strike rate of around 154. The 34-year-old batting all-rounder will be pivotal for RCB this season as they aim to win their maiden IPL trophy.
