IPL 2023 is just a fortnight away and Royal Challengers Bangalore will be hoping for a better campaign this time around.
The star-studded team of Royal Challengers Bangalore have never won the coveted IPL, and they will hope their fortunes take a better turn this time around. With the tournament set to be played across India for the first time since 2019, RCB will commence their journey this season with a home game against Mumbai Indians on April 2.
But the RCB fans will get a taste of the IPL frenzy a week before their first match, on March 26.
On 26th March, RCB have announced an event named RCB Unbox, which will raise the curtain of their new season, consisting of many events which include Hall of Fame induction and the first team practice of this year. The franchise originally announced the date to be March 25, but have now rescheduled it on March 26.
It is a curtain-raiser event from the Royal Challengers Bangalore which will be held at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. The event will start at 4 pm on March 26 and fans can attend the event by buying tickets from the official website of Royal Challengers Bangalore.
There will be many programmes at the event. But the biggest one will be the induction of their Hall of Fame list.
Former RCB players Chris Gayle and AB de Villiers will be inducted into the Hall of Fame of RCB for the class of 2023. The two stalwarts have been legends of the franchise and it will be a fitting crown for them. The universal boss (Gayle) and Mr. 360 (De Villiers) are expected to be at the event on the day.

Also, it will be the start of their full team practice on the day. With few players having already joined the squad, March 26 will be their first full team practice as they prepare for the new season.
Apart from that, there will be ample entertainment options for the fans as well. Jason Derulo, Sonu Nigam, Tulsi Kumar and Aditi Singh Sharma are all going to perform at the event. Bangalore-based rock band Thermal and a Quarter will also be performing at the event.
