RCB vs KKR, IPL 2023: 4 Bowlers Who Will Take Most Wickets In Today's Match

RCB vs KKR: Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) take on Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on Wednesday. The action will kick off from 7:30 PM IST. In their first clash against each other this season, Kolkata defeated Bangalore by 81 runs.

RCB are currently placed fifth in the ten-team IPL 2023 points table, while KKR are reeling at the eight spot after losing five of their seven matches. The Nitish Rana-led side will be entering the match on the back of four consecutive defeats.

Bangalore have won four and lost three matches. They have emerged victorious under Virat Kohli's captaincy in their last two matches against Punjab Kings (PBKS) and Rajasthan Royals (RR) respectively.

As the two teams gear up to clash against each other for the second time in the IPL 2023, let's have a look at four bowlers who can take most wickets in the match.

Mohammed Siraj: The RCB pacer is on fire in the ongoing season of the IPL. The first seven matches for the team has seen him pick 13 wickets at an average of 15.38.

The right-arm pacer has played a total of 11 matches against KKR and picked 12 wickets at an average of 24.08 and an economy rate of 7.53.

Harshal Patel: The RCB pacer has picked 10 wickets in seven matches at an average of 25.10. In the last match against Rajasthan Royals, he picked three wickets for 32 runs in Bengaluru - the venue for the upcoming match.

Overall, he has played 11 matches against KKR and picked 13 wickets at an average of 24 and an economy rate of 8.21.

Varun Chakravarthy: The leg-spinner is currently the leading wicket-taker for his side and joint fourth-highest overall in the list led by Siraj and Arshdeep Singh (13 wickets each). Chakravarthy has picked 10 wickets at an average of 21.20.

Overall, he has played seven matches against RCB and picked 10 wickets at an average of 17.30 and an economy rate of 6.25.

Sunil Narine: The West Indies is not having the best of IPL 2023 season so far. In the first matches for his side this season, he has picked five wickets. He hasn't picked a single wicket in his last four outings.

However, he would be looking to bounce back against RCB - a team against which he has played 18 matches and picked 23 wickets at an average of 18.26 and an economy rate of 6.17. At M Chinnaswamy, he has picked four wickets in 8 matches at an economy of 7.68.
