Virat Kohli equals Shikhar Dhawan and Chris Gayle in Two different IPL Milestones

Royal Challengers Bangalore batter Virat Kohli played a scintillating knock at the Chinnaswamy against Lucknow Super Giants on Monday (April 10). Kohli created mayhem and took apart the Lucknow bowling to score 61 runs.

Kohli played some exquisite shots during his inning, and reached numerous milestones in the match. The Indian batter scored his 2nd IPL fifty of the season and has been in immense touch so far this season.

Virat Kohli has equalled Shikhar Dhawan and now is joint 2nd in terms of players with 50+ scores in IPL.

The RCB batter reached his 46th fifty on the night, and he has 5 IPL centuries as well to his name. In total, Kohli has scored 50+ runs on 51 occasions in the IPL, the same as Punjab Kings skipper Shikhar Dhawan.

Delhi Capitals captain David Warner has the most number of 50+ scores in IPL, scoring a half-century or more 61 times in the competition.

Kohli has also equalled with his former RCB teammate Chris Gayle to score the most 60+ runs in the IPL. Both Kohli and Gayle have 33 instances of 60 runs and more, and they are again joint 2nd in the list.

Again it's David Warner who has the most 60+ scores in IPL. The Australian batter has achieved it 37 times.
