IPL 2023: Former India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh has heaped rich praises on Rinku Singh and said that the 25-year-old would soon get a chance to represent India. The Aligarh-born cricketer is in sublime form this season and has made a name for himself by finishing games for Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR).
KKR's highest run-scorer Rinku has scored 337 runs in 11 matches at an average of 151.12 and a strike rate of 151.12. The southpaw has smashed 21 fours and as many sixes in the IPL 2023 so far.

"That India cap is not far away from Rinku's head. He's such an inspirational player. He's run all the hard yards and worked very hard to get to where he is today.
"Full credit to him for having that belief in himself. His journey is a life lesson and all young kids should learn from him," Harbhajan Singh told Star Sports.
Further, former India cricketer Mohammed Kaif has praised Rinku for taking his game to the next level with his maturity in the IPL 2023.
"Rinku Singh has that maturity. His footwork is very good and he looks to rotate strikes as well. Rinku knows how to convert his form into good knocks and also knows when to shift gears. He is capable of hitting big shots as well," Kaif told Star Sports.
Rinku smashed five consecutive sixes on the final five balls against Gujarat Titans. In KKR's last match against PBKS, he smashed a four on the final ball of the match to hand the two-time champions a thrilling 5-wicket win.
