Rishabh Pant, who was supposed to lead Delhi Capitals at IPL but was ruled out after an accident last year, was spotted at the VIP stands in crutches.

An unidentified person helped hm settle down on his seat with Pant's crutches by his side. Pant was earlier expected to wear a Delhi Capitals jersey for the game but was advised against doing so as it goes against the IPL's rules.

Delhi cricket board (DDCA) made all the necessary arrangements for Pant's arrival as they provided a golf cart and a ramp for Pant to reach the VIP stands while also got all the clearance for him to be at the stadium, reported CricketNext.

Pant has been ruled out of all forms of cricket for at least six months after the wicket-keeper batter had a near-death experience in a car crash while driving to his hometown in Uttarakhand from Delhi late last year. The 25-year-old cricketer suffered multiple fractures and injuries and had to undergo surgery as well.

Rishabh Pant's knee injury, in particular, has been the cause of concern as recuperating from it has been complicated and has put his chances of playing the 50-over World Cup in jeopardy as well. The World Cup is slated in India from October.
