Rajasthan Royals will be taking on Punjab Kings on Wednesday (April 5) at the Barsapara Stadium in Guwahati. The Royals have adopted Guwahati their home for the first two matches of the season.
Both Royals and Kings got off to a winning start to their IPL 2023 campaign. Sanju Samson's Rajasthan thumped Sunrisers Hyderabad while Shikhar Dhawan-led Punjab Kings managed to get over the line against Kolkata Knight Riders in a rain-affected match.

RR playing 11 vs PBKS: Jos Buttler, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Sanju Samson (C), Shimron Hetmyer, Devdutt Padikkal, Riyan Parag, Jason Holder, Ravichandran Ashwin, Trent Boult, Sandeep Sharma, Yuzvendra Chahal
PBKS playing 11 vs RR: Shikhar Dhawan (C), Prabhsimran Singh, Bhanuka Rajapaksa, Jitesh Sharma, Sikandar Raza, Shahrukh Khan, Sam Curran, Nathan Ellis, Harpreet Brar, Rahul Chahar, Arshdeep Singh
Here are four names who can star for their team in the match between Rajasthan Royals and Punjab Kings and score the most number of runs.
Jos Buttler (RR): Jos Buttler's name is synonymous with this list. The England player has been the best performer for Royals with the bat and has scored massive runs for them. He started off the season with another superb knock, scoring 54 runs off just 22 balls in the last match against SRH.
And he can be in the same menacing form in Guwahati as well. Buttler will always be tipped to score some big runs and hence he is at the top of this list.

Shikhar Dhawan (PBKS): Punjab Kings captain Shikhar Dhawan played a decent knock of 40 runs against Kolkata Knight Riders in the first match. Dhawan is the second-highest run-scorer in IPL and has always been a reliable performer up at the top.
With captaincy and its added responsibilities, the 37-year-old looks much more confident and assured about himself and we may see a top knock coming on the way against the Rajasthan Royals.
Bhanuka Rajapaksa (PBKS): Bhanuka Rajapaksa is always an enigma. The 31-year-old always bats with unimaginable fluency and poise, but lacks consistency. The Sri Lankan made another fantastic start to the season and scored his first IPL fifty against KKR.
He played several brilliant innings last season as well, as the strike rate of 159 says so, but failed to convert any of his starts. Hopefully, this season will bring a change to that and with the positive start, he can back that up with another big score.

Yashasvi Jaiswal (RR): Yashasvi Jaiswal was among the three half-centurions in the last match against SRH. The youngster scored 54 runs off 37 balls and played some exquisite shots. The 21-year-old opener has plenty of potential and can be one of their star players with the bat this season.
Especially with Jos Buttler as his opening pair, Jaiswal can play the role of an anchor, which will give him ample opportunity to score big in the matches. He also crossed the landmark of 600 IPL runs in the last match, and would at least aim to get to four figures this season.
