IPL 2023: Shikha Pandey has hit out at social media trolls for abusing and accusing her of criticising Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) pacer Mohammed Siraj. Fans had claimed that a tweet from the star India Women pacer on May 6 was directed towards Siraj.
RCB faced Delhi Capitals (DC) on Saturday (May 6) and the match saw heated exchange between Siraj and Phil Salt. The Delhi opener blasted match-winning 87 runs off 45 balls in the match. He also took Siraj for the cleaners which did not go well with the 29-year-old Indian pacer.

"Swearing won’t help anyone win any games! #JustSayin," Shikha had tweeted during the match. Soon, a few fans targeted Shikha, who was part of the Delhi Capitals Women squad in the inaugural Women's Premier League (WPL), and trolled her for taking a dig at Siraj.
Shikha on Monday hit back at the trolls and made it clear that she has utmost respect for Siraj's achievement which according to her is inspiring and incomparable. She slammed fans for relating her tweet to the Hyderabad-born cricketer.
"I’ve always been in awe of Mohammed Siraj’s bowling. What he has achieved in his career thus far is incredible, inspiring & incomparable.
"So folks trying really hard to make it appear as if I implied something else please take your conversations elsewhere.
"Also, if you think hurling abuse on my TL or some one else’s helps you get your point across pls continue to do so. I can speak for myself, it does NOT.
"P.S. I’m heading to the kitchen to wash the dishes, with papa lending me a hand in preparing dinner," She tweeted.
