The Indian Premier League will be starting from March 31. The popular franchise T20 tournament will be played across India for the first time since 2019.
Defending champions Gujarat Giants take on Chennai Super Kings in the first match of this year at the Narendra Modi stadium in Ahmedabad.

And as a piece of fantastic news for the IPL viewers in the UK, the tournament will be broadcasted by Sky Sports this year. The premier broadcasting giants of the UK announced on Friday (March 24) that they will be showing the IPL matches live in the UK.
Sky Sports customers will be able to watch all the 74 matches live and no extra subscription money needs to be paid.
Apart from that, Sky Sports will also telecast the WPL final on Sunday (March 26) between Delhi Capitals and Mumbai Indians. The inaugural edition of the WPL is coming to an end on Sunday and the English fans will be able to see that live on Sky Sports. The WPL final will be starting live at 3 pm UK time on Sunday.

Several England stars will be taking part in the WPL final on Sunday. Nat Sciver-Brunt and Issy Wong will be representing Mumbai Indians while Alice Capsey will be wearing the Delhi Capitals colours.
