IPL 2023 Team Jerseys: LSG, MI, RCB, DC, CSK, RR, SRH, KKR, PBKS and GT

The sixteenth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is all set to begin on March 31 and the season will return to the old format of home and away venues.

Ten teams - Mumbai Indians, Chennai Super Kings, Royal Challengers Bangalore, Kolkata Knight Riders, Rajasthan Royals, Delhi Capitals, Gujarat Titans, Lucknow Super Giants, Sunrisers Hyderabad and Punjab Kings will battle for the coveted title.

Over the years, we have seen teams don unique jerseys made up of recycled material to sporting jerseys for some important causes like RCB, who used green jersey to spread the message of keeping the planet clean and healthy.

RCB also sported a blue jersey in support of frontline workers, who were helping during the COVID-19 pandemic, while DC has used two kits for a season and RR also have used different designs with causes in mind.

Ahead of IPL 2023, only four of the ten teams have unveiled their jersey for the upcoming season and the remaining teams will reveal their kits as we build up to the season opener. Some teams may stick to their kits from last season as all teams sported new looks.

LSG, MI, PBKS, SRH, RR, DC, CSK, KKR, RCB and GT have all unveiled their jersey for the upcoming season. RCB, MI, PBKS, GT and RR have all stuck to the color combo from last year with just a little change to the design.

Now, let's take a look at the IPL 2023 team jerseys ahead of the new season:

Lucknow Super Giants Jersey 2023

The franchise, who wore greenish-blue jerseys in their debut season in 2022, have now changed their kit colour to a dark blue shade with red stripes on the sides for IPL 2023. LSG, who open their campaign against Delhi Capitals at home on April 1.

Gujarat Titans Jersey 2023

The defending champions will stick to their traditional blue shade, but sport a little change in design as gold is added to the kit. GT will open their title defence at home against Chennai Super Kings on March 31.

Mumbai Indians Jersey 2023

The record champions have retained their traditional blue jersey and designs in gold for IPL 2023. MI will open their IPL 2023 campaign against Royal Challengers Bangalore at the M Chinaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on April 2.

Punjab Kings Jersey 2023

The Punjab Kings have also teased that they will retain the kit from last season with advertisements of early bird offers for the jersey.

Chennai Super Kings Jersey 2023

Four-time champions stick to their jersey from last season. The traditional yellow with blue designs and the jersey from last season has been retained for the new season. CSK will open their campaign against defending champions Gujarat Titans on March 31 in Ahmedabad.

Rajasthan Royals Jersey 2023

The inaugural champions Royals revealed their jersey for this season and have retained traditional pink and blue with a new title sponsor and a little change in design, which they call stepwells. The Royals will open their campaign away to Sunrisers Hyderabad on April 2.

Sunrisers Hyderabad Jersey 2023

The 2016 champions have retained their traditional Orange and Black combo with some designs on the sleeves. The Sunrisers have also named their skipper for the upcoming IPL 2023. SRH will open their campaign at home against Rajasthan Royals on April 2.

Royal Challengers Bangalore Jersey 2023

RCB stuck to the same design from last season with a little change and new title sponsor in the form of Qatar Airways. They will also be sporting a green jersey in one of their home matches.

Delhi Capitals Jersey 2023

DC have opted for a new look, but retain the combination of blue and red with blue torso and red sleeves for IPL 2023 season. DC, who have named David Warner as the skipper, will open their campaign in an away match against Lucknow Super Giants on April 1.

Kolkata Knight Riders Jersey 2023

The two-time champions have stuck to the same purple and gold combo with a little change to the design along with a new title sponsor. KKR will open their campaign on April 1 away to Punjab Kings.
