IPL 2023 Toss update, LSG vs SRH: Sunrisers Win the Toss and Bat First

Lucknow Super Giants are taking on Sunrisers Hyderabad in Match 10 of the IPL 2023 on Friday (April 7). The match is taking place at the Ekana stadium in Lucknow.

LSG have won one out of their first two matches, while SRH have played only one and lost it against Rajasthan Royals. South African all-rounder Aiden Markram, the designated SRH captain also joined the squad ahead of the match and set to lead them.

IPL 2023: LSG vs SRH Toss Report

Sunrisers Hyderabad captain Aiden Markram won the toss and decided to Bat first.

"We will look to bat first. The wicket looks dry. Ideally we will get to our first win. The guys are looking excited. There are two changes. One of them is me," Markram said after winning the toss.

Lucknow captain KL Rahul said, "Too early to say anything. We ended up batting well in the last game. We will look to adjust and play well tonight."

He also confirmed that both Mark Wood and Avesh Khan will sit out the match for them.
