But after the match, RCB batter Virat Kohli got involved in an ugly spat with LSG mentor Gautam Gambhir.

What happened between Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir

It all started during the handshakes after the match. Kohli and Gambhir shook hands peacefully, but soon after Gambhir was seen intervening with Kyle Mayers and Kohli, who were having a somewhat ambiguous chat.

It is reported that LSG player Naveen-ul-Haq somehow irked Kohli. When the Afghan player came to bat, he had a little issue with Kohli which was then controlled by the umpires, but that infight during the match took a bigger turn after the match.

Both Kohli and Gambhir were seen at odds regarding some issues. Gambhir was seen animated while the RCB batter also seemed upset. The duo were initially separated, but Kohli then asked Gambhir for a closer confrontation.

Both Kohli and Gambhir came together and had an exchange before the other players from both teams separated the pair. It can be seen Kohli was trying to explain to Gambhir about the incident as he said, "Meri Baat sun pehle" (Listen to me first), but the pair were separated soon.

After the incident, KL Rahul was seen talking with Virat Kohli and trying to calm him down. Things cooled off and Kohli was also then captured having more of an amicable handshake with LSG owner Sanjiv Goenka.

It's unknown so far the exact incident which induced the clash between the two, but both personnel should have controlled their emotions. Virat Kohli and Gautam Gambhir have clashed before as well. The pair confronted in IPL when Gambhir was the captain of KKR a decade ago.
