IPL 2023: Which Team Has The Strongest Bowling Line Up

The sixteenth edition of the Indian Premier League (IPL) is set to kick off from March 31 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. The defending champions Gujarat Giants (GT) will take on four-time champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in the tournament-opener.

The stature of the bowlers in the cash-rich tournament known mostly for insane power-hitting from the biggest T20 superstars from across the globe has slowly and gradually risen over the last fifteen years and the IPL 2023 is a proof.

Several teams in the upcoming season have bowling attacks who can roll over the best batting line-ups on a given day. Choosing the strongest bowling line-up among the ten teams can be one tough task, but in the piece we have to justify why Delhi Capitals (DC) are that team.

IPL 2023: Why Delhi Capitals have the strongest bowling line-up

Gun overseas pacers

Anrich Nortje, Lungi Ngidi, Mustafizur Rahman and Mitchell Marsh are the gun foreign pacers Delhi Capitals have got in their arsenal. South Africa speedster Nortje, who made a name for himself by picking 22 wickets in IPL 2022, is feared even by the top batters in the world.

The accuracy and international experience of his compatriot Ngidi, left-arm swing of Bangladesh star Mustafizur and the lengths which Australia's big man Marsh will hit is expected to be extremely helpful for Delhi. Delhi also have an option in West Indies' right-arm medium-pacer Rovman Powell

Excellent Indian pace attack

Veteran India pacer Ishant Sharma, left-arm pacer Khaleel Ahmed, very talented Chetan Sakariya, Mukesh Kumar and Kamlesh Nagarkoti are a few Indian pacers to boost the very impressive bowling resume of David Warner-led Delhi Capitals.

Khaleel and Sakariya have decent IPL experience and are part of the stock of best fast bowlers India have at the moment. Mukesh Kumar has made a name for himself with superb bowling performances for Bengal and is considered one of the most hard-working bowlers going around the Indian circuit.

In Nagarkoti Delhi have got a genuine Indian speedster. The U-19 World Cup star has the ability to surprise the opposition with his raw pace.

World-class spinners

Kuldeep Yadav and Axar Patel can walk in the playing XI of any white-ball team in the world, such is their class. Kuldeep has returned to form with an excellent IPL 2022 season which saw him pick 21- fifth highest in the season.

The left-arm spin of Axar Patel adds variation to the squad and his pinpoint accuracy can come very handy in the shortest format of the game. Also in the ranks of uncapped domestic stars Lalit Yadav (off-spinner), Praveen Dubey (leg-spinner) and Vicky Ostwal (left-arm spinner).
