Yashasvi Jaiswal slammed his maiden Indian Premier League century as the Rajasthan Royals' stunning innings at a strike rate of 200 took the side to a mammoth 212/7 in 20 overs against Mumbai Indians during match 42 of IPL 2023 in Mumbai on Sunday.
Yashasvi Jaiswal's 124 off 62 balls, studded with 16 boundaries and eight maximums, came off just 62 deliveries at a strike rate of 200. The southpaw reached his century in 53 deliveries and shot 13 fours and 6 sixes at that time, which is 88 runs coming from boundaries to reach the ton.

During the course of his innings, the 21-year-old batter had a 72-run opening stand with Jos Buttler (18) to lay the foundation for a big total. The batter kept scoring at a good strike rate and played a lone hand following Buttler's departure as wickets kept falling around him.
Likes of Sanju Samson (14), Devdutt Padikkal (2), Simron Hetmyer (8), Jason Holder (11) and Dhruv Jurel (2) had an off-day while Yashasvi Jaiswal played in a league of his own at a venue that has been close to his heart.
The batter is familiar with the ground as he plays domestic cricket for Mumbai and recently had a stunning Ranji season. Jaiswal capped it off with a 213 and 144 run knock in the Irani Trophy for the Rest of India against Ranji champions Madhya Pradesh.
The batter's form has been on the rise in this year's IPL too as the batter scored 77, 47, and 44 in his last three innings before coming into the game. He also scored 54 and 60 earlier this IPL.
