Rajasthan Royals batter Yashasvi Jaiswal has won the IPL 2023 Emerging Player award courtesy of an outstanding season with the bat.
The youngster has had a magnificent IPL 2023 season and was a deserving winner of the award. It was announced after the IPL 2023 Final on Monday.

The RR opener's riveting season in IPL has seen him scoring 625 runs this season. The 21-year-old finished the season as 5th highest run scorer in the tournament, most for RR this season. Jaiswal's elegance combined with sheer aggressive batting was the force behind the Royals' fantastic starts.
The brute power hitting the budding star showed was phenomenal and in a season where Jos Buttler struggled a bit, Jaiswal was Rajasthan's biggest batting pillar.
The southpaw compiled his season with 5 fifties and a hundred. He scored 124 off just 60 balls to get his maiden IPL hundred. The Mumbai batter's emergence at the IPL stage is an inspiring story, and he would be aiming to make it bigger in the coming days.
The stellar show in IPL also has opened up Jaiswal's India dreams. The swashbuckling opener has been added as a backup for the Indian team in the WTC Final and he has already flown to London. Jaiswal's indomitable class will require proper guidance and more hard work in the coming days.
The path of this youngster from the humblest of backgrounds has taken a significant leap. The onus will be only on Jaiswal to keep his feet on the ground and stay focused on his cricket.
