Ambati Rayudu went on a full-on rampage towards the Royal Challengers Bengaluru and their star players after their defeat at the hands of Lucknow Super Giants on Tuesday (April 3).
RCB lost to LSG by 28 runs at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium. Chasing 182 runs, they got bundled out for 153 runs. With the defeat, they have now lost three out of four matches and are already staring down the barrel.

Although there were many theories on why RCB lost. Rayudu picked up the sensitive yet valid reason for their continuous failure. In the post-match analysis on Star Sports, the former India batter blamed RCB's big-name players for not stepping up.
He said that the reason for RCB's failure is that the star players of their team never show up in the crunch situation. He also blamed their main players for 'eating the cream out of the cake and moving on' and said the continuous pattern of the team is persisting even after 17 years since the inception of IPL.
"I think their bowling always gives overpar runs and their batting perform undepar. If you see, you will realize at pressure, their young batters and Dinesh Karthik are batting. The big names and international players who are supposed to take the pressure are in the dressing room. And this is not just happening today, it's happening for the past 16 years," Rayudu said on Star Sports after RCB's defeat against LSG.
"Whenever there is pressure, no big-name players are seen. The younger players take the burden from behind and the popular players scoop out the cream of the cake in front of them. This kind of team can't win and that is the reason they have never won the IPL in all these years," Rayudu added.
He didn't take any name while speaking but it was vivid on whom the attack was arrayed from the former CSK player. RCB is still in search of their first-ever IPL title and the way they have started, it doesn't look like the dream will come to reality this year.
