Former Sunrisers Hyderabad captain David Warner has revealed that Sunrisers Hyderabad has blocked him on social media.
The former SRH captain didn't leave the franchise on best terms but made the shocking revelation on Tuesday amid the IPL 2024 auction.

The Australian won the IPL with Sunrisers Hyderabad in 2016, but things turned sour between him and SRH management when he was removed from captaincy amid the IPL 2020 season. He was released by SRH in 2022 and the Aussie has opened up in the past on the mistreatment by SRH during his stay at the franchise.
And it seems SRH hasn't taken that criticism lightly as they have blocked him from their social media profiles. Two of Warner's Australia teammates Travis Head and Pat Cummins were snapped up by SRH in the IPL 2024 auction.
Travis Head was sold to SRH for 6.8 crore, while Pat Cummins went for a massive Rs. 20.50 crore in the auction. The Australian captain has now also become the 2nd most expensive player in IPL's history.
Warner wanted to congratulate the duo and when doing that, he faced issues and understood that his former employees had blocked him from both Instagram and X. Warner himself revealed taking a screenshot and shared it on his Instagram profile.

Since leaving SRH in 2022, David Warner has been playing for Delhi Capitals. The southpaw led the Capitals in IPL 2023 in Rishabh Pant's absence, and will be back to play for them in the IPL 2024 season.
