IPL 2024 auction is around the corner and like every year, there will be some monumental names up for grabs at the auction table.
Along with some reputed international names, some young domestic players are going to be auctioned and some of them may turn out to win a fortune. In the recently concluded Mushtaq Ali Trophy, we have witnessed some top talents emerge in the national fold, and some of them may go on to cash on in the upcoming auction.

At just 24 years of age, Desai is touted to be one of the next stars in the domestic circuit and he has already shown plenty of potential. Abhimanyu Easwaran's IPL dream may turn into reality in this auction. The Bengal player has changed his style of batting radically with a much more aggressive approach, and it has paid dividends for him. Easwaran at the top for any team is a good player to have, and he had an excellent SMAT 2023 as well. Hence don't be surprised if he gets more than one taker in the auction.

Ait Sheth's rise in the SMAT 2023 was proportional to Baroda's excellent campaign. Baroda finished as runners-up, and Sheth took a prolific part in their run. Sheth, who is an all-rounder, picked up 18 wickets in the tournament with an average below 15.
His medium-pace bowling coupled with his destructive batting lower down the order makes the Baroda player a complete package. Hence teams who demand multifaceted players can eye bringing the Baroda player on board.

Shams Mulani was part of Mumbai Indians and Delhi Capitals in the past. He didn't find a chance in his previous IPL stints, but Mulani was excellent for Mumbai in the SMAT.
