Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) have a huge void to fill in the upcoming IPL 2024 auction. The aftermath of releasing 11 players will mean they have to go all guns blazing in the event and bolster their squad ahead of the 2024 tournament.
RCB had let go of many of their top names, such as Australia pacer Josh Hazlewood and Sri Lanka all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga. Their head coach Andy Flower recently explained the reason for the releases but we may see them coming back for some during the auction.

Here are two players RCB may aim to rope in again, but maybe for a lesser price-
Harshal Patel's monumental deal at RCB was a roadblock for them and they have given them some breathing space by releasing him. But will the Indian pacer be in their wishlist again?
As the Royal Challengers Bangalore go shopping in the auction, we believe Harshal Patel can still be a prominent name in their list. The Indian pacer has done exceedingly well for them in the past, and we may see RCB holding on to his card if the player comes cheap.
Harshal Patel's ability to bowl at the death is something that RCB has lacked over the years, and they may want to pursue the same avenue in the coming auction, but it can't be that astronomical figures as RCB can maximum effort around five crores for the India bowler.
Michael Bracewell had a sporadic chance in the IPL 2023 but he is someone who can be a fantastic squad player. RCB released him ahead of the auction but may explore the option of bringing the Kiwi all-rounder back in the auction.
The 32-year-old has multifaceted skills and can be a fantastic backup for Glenn Maxwell. Hence there is a strong possibility that RCB may aim to bring Bracewell back in their ranks. Although he has been out of action for a long time, it won't be a financial disaster if RCB gets the New Zealand player in and around his base price.
Josh Hazlewood and Wanindu Hasaranga are also big contenders for a return to RCB but they may not be able to afford the duo as other teams would swoop in to land those players.
