The Ekana Cricket Stadium Stadium, established in 2017 as the fifth largest cricket stadium in India, will play host to at least seven games during the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024.
The venue, also known as Ekana Cricket Stadium, was renamed in 2018 renamed in honour of India's 10th Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee as Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee (BRSABV) Ekana Stadium.

The Lucknow venue has served as home venues to the Uttar Pradesh state teams, the Indian cricket team, the Afghanistan national team, and since 2023 as a home to IPL side Lucknow Super Giants.
In the partial released schedule, the Ekana Stadium in Lucknow will host 2 of LSG's home league stage matches, starting with a clash against Punjab Kings on March 30 followed by a fixture against Gujarat Titans on April 7.

Known to be flat wickets, but has helped slower bowlers as the game progresses, providing assistance to spinners, who have dominated the wickets column at the venue. And like most venues, the chasing team has enjoyed majority of the success in Lucknow as well.
It's the Indian summer, and the day will be very hot, seeing temperature rise up to 39°C in March, but is expected to get slightly cooler in the nights with temperature reducing as low as 26°C. In April and May we will see a similar pattern to March, but the temperature could touch 42°C.
