The Indian Premier League (IPL) returns this week with season 17, and the cash-rich tournament is set to provide fans from across several cities an opportunity to enjoy some match-going atmosphere by organizing Fan Parks.
IPL Fan Parks have allowed fans, who are unable to attend games at the stadium, to have an experience almost similar to the one that a spectators has at the venue, where the game is being played.

"The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) always strives to bring the game closer to the fans across the globe and the country and keeping that in mind, brought the Fan Park concept into play in 2015," a statement from IPL read.
IPL 2024 will start with a blockbuster opening clash between defending champions Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in a South Indian derby at their home arena--MA Chidambaram Stadium on Friday (March 22).
The first Fan Park of the season will take place on the same day as the season opener in Madurai. In the first two weeks of the IPL 2024, commencing from Friday to April 7 there will be 15 Fan Parks.
11 Indian states - Uttar Pradesh, Rajasthan, West Bengal, Maharashtra, Tamil Nadu, Uttarakhand, Gujarat, Karnataka, Jharkhand, Punjab and Telangana - will host the much-anticipated Fan Parks in the first two weeks of the IPL 2024.
Five Fan Parks will take place simultaneously across different cities, each week, while the schedule for the Fan Parks post-April 7 was announced on Sunday (April 7) for the entire season, starting from April 13.
Several fan parks will screen the same match, especially during the double-header matches. Here is a look at the IPL 2024 Fan Parks List along with when the city will host the fan park and which match will be screened on the day in the IPL 2024 Fan Park:
The access to IPL 2024 Fan Parks will be free of cost. Fans will witness the LIVE action on giant screens installed at the location along with music, merchandise, food court, games and some fun activations by IPL's official sponsors.
The timing may vary depending on the match start time as the Fan Park may open at 1:30 PM IST during a double header day, and around 4 PM IST for the days when there is only one match.
