The IPL 2024 is set to start on March 22. Ten teams are taking part in the 17th edition of the IPL and Chennai Super Kings will play Royal Challengers Bangalore in the opening match.

Although the start date is confirmed, the complete schedule of IPL is still not out. Due to the general election this year, only a partial schedule has been announced and the remaining part will be released as per the election schedule.

Amid this, a speech from Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) mentor Gautam Gambhir has indicated the possible date of the IPL 2024 Final.

Gambhir has rejoined with KKR as a mentor in IPL 2024. The former KKR captain left LSG and is now going to be a part of the KKR coaching staff as the Knights look to end their 10-year-long trophy drought.

But a released video from KKR has given an indication of the date of the Final. Gambhir gave a speech to the players recently where he asserted that winning the IPL will be the sole aim for KKR this season.

He spoke about the history of the franchise and while speaking, accidentally spoke about May 26, which is being speculated as the possible date of the IPL 2024 Final.

"We start this season from today. Whether it's physically, mentally skill wise, give everything possible. It's a very, very proud and successful franchise."

"So everyone needs to follow that one simple path. On 26th May, we should be there giving everything possible, and it starts from today. It's not gonna start on the 26th. It's not gonna start on the 23rd," Gambhir said.

Since then, the video has done rounds on social media and fans are asking if Gambhir's mentioned date will be the Finale day of IPL 2024.
