Rajasthan Royals will be hoping to showcase a decent outing in the upcoming IPL 2024 season. The Royals were the inaugural IPL champions but have been struggling of late. They made it to the final in IPL 2022 but then failed to continue their momentum and couldn't even qualify for the playoffs last year.
As the new season beckons, the 2008 champions have made some decent recruitments. Along with Sanju Samson as captain, they will be hoping to bank on some big money youngsters who will have a massive responsibility.

Riyan Parag has often been criticized for not fulfilling his potential. The Assam player is in the IPL fold since 2019 but has only two fifties across these four years.
But the 22-year-old has looked a class apart in domestic tournaments this season. He is racked up massive runs and has shown his magic with the ball. Royals have high hopes on the player and the onus will be on Parag to replicate his domestic plaudits in the IPL.
Parag can become an asset for them. His devastating batting coupled with the leg break can prove to be crucial for RR in the upcoming IPL edition.
Shubham Dubey is not a you hater by age, but definitely a young one when it comes to IPL experience. The Vidarbha batter was picked up by RR for a whopping Rs 5.8 crore and a lot is expected of him.
Dubey is known for his blitzkrieg with the bat. The batter has been striking at 145 in T20 cricket and has a record of finding the fence once in six balls. If he adapts into the middle order, Royals will have a massive boost this season. Although the daunting stage can wake up the butterflies in his stomach, but Dubey will be hoping to steer along with his fearless attitude.
Donovan Ferreira has been a class in the SA20 for Joburg Super Kings. The young South African is a destructive batter who loves to clear the fences.
He has a T20 strike rate of over 153, and believe it or not, Ferreira has been striking at 88 in Test format. He made his South Africa debut in the T20Is and shows his prowess with a 48 run knock off just 21 balls on his debut against Australia last year. The 25-year-old bowls decent off spin, and can also keep the wickets. Although his chances may be limited, but keep an eye on this multifaceted talent.
Dhruv Jurel emerged last year for RR as an Impact Player and played some decent knocks. Fast forward to this February, he has already made his Test debut for India.
The amazing rise of this talented boy from Agra can reach greater heights as Jurel will have a bigger role at RR this season. His ability as a finisher has been proven already, but it is to be seen how the 23-year-old handles bigger responsibilities. Jurel is known for his clean striking of the ball and can also hone his role as a wicketkeeper.
Along with the crop of youngsters, Jurel can be a central figure of the Rajasthan Renaissance in the coming IPL seasons.
