Sunrisers Hyderabad have made some amazing coups in the IPL 2024 auction and will be going into the tournament with massive confidence.
SRH retained most of their key members, and then went on to sign Australia captain Pat Cummins in the auction along with Sri Lanka all-rounder Wanindu Hasaranga. They are equipped with huge talent and are looking one of the strongest on paper at the moment.

Despite their strong first XI, the new addition of Impact Player rule in the IPL means they will be hoping to introduce someone who can turn the heads of the match with his prowess. Here are four players who can be perfect as an Impact Player for SRH-
Abdul Samad brings aggressive batting in the fray and is a perfect candidate as an Impact Player in a chasing situation for SRH. His dashing batting at the middle order has been a boon for them in the past and Samad is likely to play a big part from the bench again in 2024.
Mayank Markande had a rejuvenation at SRH in the IPL 2023. The forgotten leg-spinner sprung into life for the Orange Army and ended up with 12 wickets at an impressive economy rate. The 26-year-old bowler is an uncanny customer and has deceptive abilities which were on show last season, and even in 2024, Markande can be a perfect Impact Player for SRH again.
Washington Sundar is a multifaceted player who can be introduced as an Impact Player. His bowling and batting can both aid SRH and the player can be roped in amid a match to bolster the need for the team according to the situation.
Travis heads inclusion in the SRH team can be a massive boost for them. The opening slot is pretty much sorted, but Head can come in as an impact player in chasing for the Orange Army. The Australian was excellent in the World Cup 2023 and will be hoping to continue his rich vein of form on Indian soil in the IPL.
