IPL 2024: 'Hardik Pandya has Matured a Lot' - Bengal Player Anustup Majumder hails MI captain for handling Fan Rage

Bengal cricketer Anustup Majumder has spoken highly about Hardik Pandya's mindset and management amid the ongoing fiasco around him.

Hardik Pandya has been under the wrath of fans across the country. Hardik Pandya has been booed by Mumbai Indians fans without any proper reason. Fans have a notion that Pandya is the main reason behind Rohit Sharma's removal from MI captaincy and they have just acted vehemently on it. Even Virat Kohli was unhappy with fans the way they were treating Pandya in a match at the Wankhede Stadium.

But the way Pandya has handled the thing is quite commendable. Hardik has always kept a smile, never reacted back and has thanked the fans for their support for MI in all of his interviews. Mumbai Indians made a horrible start with three consecutive defeats, but they have won two consecutive matches and are looking good at the moment.

Speaking with MyKhel in an exclusive interview, Anustup Majumder hailed Hardik Pandya for handling the matter so maturely. He also spoke about the rigorous changes in mindset an athlete needs to be successful and the importance of filtering things out to be in the best mental shape.

"I think the way Hardik Pandya is handling the issue is excellent. This is the way everyone must deal with these adversities, by just ignoring them. You will have to filter out things and you can't just take everything in your heart. If you do so, you can't survive," Majumder said to MyKhel.

Anustup Majumder also believes Hardik's parenthood may have also played a part in his composed way of dealing with adverse situations.

"I think Pandya has matured a lot. He has gone through a lot and is a lot calmer now. I think parenthood also plays a part in it. Hardik Pandya of the past would have reacted to it, but he has changed himself," he added.

The Bengal player also mentioned the politics with Rohit Sharma and Hardik Pandya is mainly created by a section of the media but also asserts the ever-presence of politics in every aspect of life.
