Mumbai Indians pacer Jasprit Bumrah has showcased his elite bowling display in the match against Punjab Kings today (April 18).

The Mumbai Indians pacer struck twice in his first over and got two massive wickets of two key Punjab Kings players.

The first one was the wicket of Rilee Rossouw. The South African departed for just 1 run as a cracking yorker uprooted his stumps. Two balls after that, PBKS captain Sam Curran fell victim to Bumrah as this time an edge found Ishan Kishan.

Bumrah, regarded as one of the best bowlers in the present day, has been a top-notch bowler for both India and Mumbai Indians in IPL. Bumrah's discipline, accuracy and pace make the pacer one of the deadliest weapons for MI and he lived up to the expectations yet again.

Bumrah came back for his second spell and got the crucial wicket of Shashank Singh in his very first ball. The 30-year-old pacer now also has the most three-fors in IPL history with 22 instances.

Bumrah now has 13 wickets in the IPL 2024 and has gone on top of the Purple Cap list, surpassing Rajasthan Royals spinner Yuzvendra Chahal.
