The grand extravaganza of the Indian Premier League 2024 is ongoing and the ebbs and flows of the game are set to enthral the globe for the next eight weeks or so.
The IPL has carried an entertainment part with it since its inception. Apart from the action on the field, there are ample ways to entertain the spectators. Cheerleading is an important component of that.

The majority of IPL seasons have seen cheerleaders dancing and creating a buzz across the stadium for the respective teams. Some teams have appointed cheerleaders from the USA, while we have also seen Indian Cheerleaders going 'Desi Style' with traditional dresses, during the Pune Warriors India days.
But ever imagined what are the earnings of these cheerleaders? Along with the glamour, there are perks and a decent monetary compensation for all the cheerleaders in IPL. It requires massive hard work to dance, model and perform in front of people in the scorching summer of India, hence the payment is handsome.
According to reports, generally, a cheerleader gets around Rs 15,000 to 17,000 per match. Along with that, the expenses of their living, eating and travel are maintained by the franchise.
Kolkata Knight Riders pay the biggest money to cheerleaders. As reports say, KKR pay Rs 24,000 to 25,000 to a cheerleader per match. KKR also give the cheerleaders some sort of bonus if the team performs well.
Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Mumbai Indians pay an amount of around 20,000 Indian Rupees per match to a cheerleader. In the case of the Chennai Super Kings, the payment is around Rs 17,000 per match.
