The Indian Premier League (IPL) is witnessing a new speedster as Mayank Yadav has announced himself with Lucknow Super Giants.

The young pacer has taken IPL 2024 by storm with two stellar performances in his first two matches, the first against Punjab Kings and then Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

Mayank Yadav had yet another fantastic outing against RCB on Tuesday as the bowler bamboozled international batters with his pace and accuracy. His spell of four overs brought LSG back into the match and his three wickets meant the youngster was adjudged as the Player of the Match yet again.

Mayank's spell said three for 14 in four overs, which had the wickets of Glenn Maxwell, Cameron Green and Rajat Patidar. Along with his stellar bowling and wickets, Yadav has broken his own record to bowl the fastest ball of the IPL 2024.

Mayank Yadav clocked 156.7 kph during the match, which is now the fastest ball of this season. The LSG bowler surpassed his own pace of 155.8 kph in the last match. Along with that, he has now got himself into the Top Five Fastest Deliveries list in the history of IPL. His ball against RCB is now the 4th Fastest in the history of the Indian Premier League.
