IPL 2024: 'Mera Kya Hai, Mera toh Last Hai' - Emotional Rohit Sharma confirms Mumbai Indians Exit in Viral Video?

Rohit Sharma has heightened the speculations of him leaving Mumbai Indians with a viral video on social media.

Mumbai Indians are set to take on Kolkata Knight Riders in the IPL 2024 clash on Saturday at the Eden Gardens. Ahead of that, a social media video released by KKR has added incentive to the current saga.

Rohit Sharma Abhishek Nayar

A video from KKR showed Rohit Sharma and KKR assistant coach Abhishek Nayar talking with each other, where the MI star could be heard speaking about the current situation of something, which the fans indicate is Mumbai Indians.

Since the appointment of Mumbai Indians, the five-time Champions look disjointed. The many changes has brought about disaster as Mumbai Indians are already eliminated from the tournament. In the video, Rohit could be seen talking with Nayar about that. Though he didn't mention any name, the indication was clear.

"Ek ek cheez change ho raha hai... (Things are changing one by one). Woh unke upar hai, main ye sab pe dhyaan nahi data... (It depends on them, I don't care about that)," Rohit could be heard saying to Nayar amid the constant fan chanting at the back.

He could also be heard saying his emotional connection with the franchise, saying that he built the team and the legacy.

"Jo bhi hai woh mera ghar hai bhai, woh temple jo hai na maine banwaya hai. (Whatever it is, that's my home. I have built the temple)," he could be heard, which kind of confirmed that the topic of the subject was Mumbai Indians.

Although the final part of the audio clip is unclear but he finishes with, "Bhai mera kya hai, mera toh last hai (Anyways, this is my last)."

The video has been shared by many fans on X and other social media platforms and it has gone viral. If Rohit was indicating MI, which it looks, this is a massive moment in the history of IPL. The indication about 'mera toh last hai' is unclear though, as fans are divided about it. The majority believes Rohit is going to leave MI after this season, while a section thinks Rohit will stop playing IPL, which doesn't look a pragmatic decision for the India captain.
