The second-highest decibel level during MS Dhoni chants recorded during IPL 2023 chants was 117 in Delhi and Lucknow. However, the fans at Visakhapatnam created a new record. The effort of 28,000 fans took the decibel level of MS Dhoni chants to a record high of 128 in Match 13 of IPL 2024 on Sunday, March 31.

This was the first time MS Dhoni was coming out to bat in the IPL 2024. Chennai Super Kings (CSK) won the first match against Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) by six wickets. In the following match against Gujarat Titans (GT), Chennai scored 206/6 and Dhoni did not get a chance to bat once again.
