RCB secured a fantastic victory over Chennai Super Kings to qualify for the IPL 2024 playoffs.
But their star player Dinesh Karthik has picked out MS Dhoni's six to be the moment of the match.

RCB scored 218 runs after batting first at the Chinnaswamy Stadium. CSK could only manage 191 runs in their chase and thus lost the match by 27 runs. Although the Super Kings needed 201 runs to qualify, they couldn't manage it after an excellent last over by Yash Dayal.
Dayal got hit for a six by Dhoni in his very first ball, but then came back in stellar fashion. He conceded just one run and picked up a wicket as RCB registered their name for the playoffs with their sixth consecutive victory.
After the victory, Karthik was seen giving a speech at the RCB dressing room, where he hilariously picked Dhoni's 110-metre six as the moment of the match.
"The best thing to happen today was Dhoni hitting that six outside the ground, and we got a new ball, which was much better to bowl with," Karthik was seen saying after the match.
"Yash, that was good bowling. When in doubt, always bowl a hip-high full toss on leg stump. Wherever he is, it's a good mantra to follow when the ball is wet," Karthik hilariously added.
MS Dhoni picked up the bones out of a Yash Dayal full toss in the final over of the game. He flicked it in the leg side and hit it for a massive 110-metre-long six. The ball cleared the boundary and cleared the stadium, which meant a new ball had to be introduced.
Karthik opined that Dhoni's hit helped in the cause for Dayal and Royal Challengers Bengaluru, as a new ball helped the RCB pacer to grip his slower ball far better. As a result, the immediate next ball saw the departure of MS Dhoni.
